Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Katapote Games website (run by Katapote, “we”) handles information. Each app and game has its own privacy policy, linked from its App Store page.

1. What we don’t collect

This site has no accounts, sign-in or forms. We do not collect names, email addresses or other information that directly identifies you.

2. Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address and browser type. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

3. Analytics

No analytics service is currently in use. If one is added, it will be listed here.

4. Events

If analytics is enabled, clicking a button sends only:

• The type of event (e.g. playtest button, App Store button, X link, language switch)
• The page path and language
• A coarse traffic-source label (e.g. X, search, direct) and any UTM parameters in the URL

A click on the TestFlight link only records that the button was pressed. We cannot see whether you actually joined the playtest.

5. Browser storage

We store your language choice (localStorage), and a record used to avoid sending the same event twice plus the traffic source (sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab). These never leave your browser.

6. External sites

Links to TestFlight, the App Store, X and other sites are governed by those operators’ privacy policies.
